(Livro de Mórmon  Ed.98, Apêndice pág.37).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Hoje todos os mórmons reconhecem o sacerdócio de Arão e Melquisedeque, tendo como ponto de partida as supostas revelações de Smith. A Bíblia, porém, diz que o sacerdócio de Arão foi removido; <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> De sorte que, se a perfeição fosse pelo sacerdócio levítico{ou de Arão}(pois sob este o povo recebeu a lei), que necessidade havia ainda de que outro sacerdote se levantasse, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque, e que não fosse contado segundo a ordem de Arão? Pois, <u>mudando-se o sacerdócio{ o sacerdócio de Arão foi removido ou mudado}</u>, necessariamente se faz também mudança da lei..</i>. ( Hb.7:11-12) e o sacerdócio de Melquisedeque pertence exclusivamente a Cristo; <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> ...<u>Tu és sacerdote eternamente segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque</u>), de tanto melhor concerto Jesus foi feito fiador. E, na verdade, aqueles foram feitos sacerdotes em grande número, porque pela morte foram impedidos de permanecer, mas este, porque permanece para sempre, tem o seu sacerdócio perpétuo </i>(Hb.7:21-24). A palavra grega para  perpétuo , nesse versículo, é <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"><u>aparábatos</u></i><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">,</b> e só aparece aqui, em todo o Novo Testamento, e significa:  imutável, inalterável, intransmissível, intransferível (DF). O Dr. Robertson diz:  Deus pôs a Cristo neste sacerdócio (o de Melquisedeque), e ninguém mais pode introduzir-se nele . Os mórmons dizem exercer um sacerdócio que, segundo a Bíblia, foi removido ou mudado, e outro que pertence exclusivamente a Cristo. Dentro da verdadeira Igreja de Jesus Cristo não existe uma classe de sacerdotes pertencentes ao sacerdócio Araônico, Levítico ou Melquisedequista, todos pela graça e misericórdia de Deus fomos chamados a exercer um sacerdócio em Cristo e em favor uns dos outros e dos perdidos, anunciando-lhes as virtudes de Graça de nosso Senhor.
