Ou seja, de acordo com ensino dos mórmons, é preciso aceitar todas as suas doutrinas e receber Smith como o profeta sagrado que trouxe a  restauração . Isso choca-se completamente com as verdades contida na Bíblia Sagrada. O mormonismo chega a ser infantil ao declarar que as suas doutrinas e o profeta Smith são necessários para a salvação do homem. Smith não fez nada pela salvação do homem, mas sim foi usado de maneira estranha para afastar as pessoas da verdade com doutrinas hediondas (as quais estão ainda sendo apuradas). Smith não é nada em relação a salvação humana, pois foi Jesus quem morreu por nós e só através dele é que somos salvos. Chega a ser uma blasfêmia dizer que depois de Jesus, Smith teria feito muito pela salvação, pois o único que fez tudo pela nossa salvação é só Jesus Cristo. Talvez poderíamos dizer que um dos homens que mais trabalhou na propagação do evangelho foi, sem dúvida, o apóstolo Paulo (lei: I Cor.15:10). Agora nós não precisamos de Paulo, Maria, João, Smith ou qualquer outro inventor de religião para sermos salvos.
